Digifest 2022
Branding and Creative Direction for Digifest 2022, a conference celebrating new technologies within the education sector. For this project, my role involved leading and developing a look and feel from the event themes, and translating these through various digital and printed designs. For this project, I was able to organise a shoot to acquire bespoke imagery, which helped bring the concept to life.
I was also involved in the design and development of an interactive area called the ‘Eco Garden’, working with an Augmented Reality contractor to bring my digital designs to life.
Concept
Key themes for Digifest 2022 included ‘Shaping a sustainable future’ with the tagline ‘Evolving learning’. I knew from the beginning I wanted to some how combine the real world and themes of sustainability with digital technology that the event would be showcasing heavily.
I used colour, lighting and digital plant details to portray these themes.
Photography
As this event was held for the Education Sector, I knew it was important to include real life people, to showcase the students that this technology would be directly affecting. It was important to me that the inclusion of people within the event branding felt natural, and enhanced the concept. I brainstormed and sketched my ideas, to make my brief to the photographer as thorough as possible.

The Eco Garden
An interactive Augmented Reality experience at Digifest 2022, showcasing technology through sustainable tips and goals. It was my role to help design the concept, gamification element and visuals of this area along with the head of brand and creative. I supported by researching, generating ideas and developing sketches and visual examples for our contracted company to develop from.
